Assessment Extension Request

Students requiring an extension for longer than 7 days, or where the assessment is not eligible for automatic extension, may apply via Assessment Extension Request Form.  In this instance, extensions will only be approved if student has a medical, compassionate, or other serious grounds (Support Documentations required); or as part of reasonable adjustments made via an AccessAbility plan.

IMPORTANT NOTE
The maximum extension period is 14 days.
No extensions will be granted beyond the end of the study period.
Extension requests must be submitted BEFORE the assessment deadline.

Please note: if you are NOT registered directly with ACAP AccessAbility and answer yes you may incur delays to the approval of your extension.


You will instead need to submit a Academic Consideration in Assessment Form.










Quizzes, group work, research and thesis Assessments are only eligible for Extension in case of adverse circumstances/unforeseeable adverse circumstances with mandatory Support Documentation.

The due date for this assessment has passed, and extension requests are no longer available. If you need more time for this assessment, you should consider submitting a request for Academic Consideration in Assessment.
